Everyone in 'Persons Unknown' is a bald, hackneyed cliche.

Persons Unknown is book #2 of the DS Manon (pronounced Ma-No with the emphasis on the second syllable) Bradshaw series. Though I liked the first book, Missing Presumed, a bit better, this too was a very enjoyable read. My main complaint is the slow start. I was expecting a full on police procedural whereas what I got was a tale where the /5.
